Tips
- Because Thype doesn't have Delicate, he can heal himself without needing to worry about using the wrong pigment color. This is balanced out by Stitches targeting the lowest health party member, which will often be Thype if he takes damage from overflow or wrong-pigmenting.
- If multiple party members are tied for lowest health, using Stitches will heal all of them
Trivia
- Thype's name comes from Wayne Barlowe's visual project Thype.[1]
- Early in Brutal Orchestra's development, Thype would hang from the top of the screen in combat. This was really funny but was cut as playtesters would constantly forget he was there and get him killed.[1]
- Thype was the party member whose dialogue was rewritten the most during Brutal Orchestra's development. At one point, Thype's unlock dialogue involved a quite crude fart joke but this was cut as Talia wrote it very late at night and found it to be extremely cringe the next morning.[1]
- Talia says that she believes the joke was: "...a pull my finger sort of thing but I think the finger that you pulled was someone else’s that Thype was just hiding in his hand so it like detached. IIRC Thype died of laughter after that and then implied the fart wasn’t originally his either.", however Talia admits that she is not 100% sure that’s what it was.[2]
- When Thype "dies" from withering he actually just leaves. This happens because Thype has an extremely low attention span.[1]
- The stones Thype gives Nowak during their first encounter were stolen from Fogs.[1]
- Thype often hands Arnold inexplicably fresh meat. This consistently upsets and confuses Arnold. No one is sure where this meat is coming from.[1]
- Thype is banned from attending the audience of the fight club Roids often participates in.[1]
- While in The Far Shore, Thype is always slightly offscreen, even when not in the party.[1]
- Thype can do an alarmingly accurate impression of Boyle.[1]
- Thype commited the most crimes out of every party member, they were all mostly minor ones, he most likely did a lot of them unknowingly though.[3]
- Thype is Thype.[1]
