Trigger Fingers Signature.PNG

Trigger Fingers is one of the four possible bosses in The Far Shore. Due to the signature ability Headshot, he can be quite fearsome, but Formless upscaled.pngFormless allows for an easy workaround. His focus is on teaching the player to hold back on some enemies and be more thoughtful as to when you attack.

Lore

  • Trigger Fingers is overtly designed to be a Nazi general, who most likely committed suicide during the end of the war, the "Headshot" attack dealing 1945 damage being a reference to this. Unlike the other Far Shore bosses, Trigger Fingers is supposed to be more of an "idea" rather than being a full on character.[1]
  • Lore from the steam card: "Trigger Fingers, as Bosch has nicknamed him, arrived in Purgatory only moments ago. He is still in a suicidal haze of confusion, likely unaware that he has crossed over at all. His firearm is the thin barrier between him and the starving jaws of Purgatory. As soon as he fires his final bullet, he is revealed for what he has always been - a pathetic whelp suckling from the tit of an ideology he never meant anything to."

Death Quotes

Bosch
Don't push your luck while fighting Trigger Fingers; every time you damage them they reroll an ability.
Bosch
Watch what Trigger Fingers is doing in the timeline closely. Making a bad call can get you killed easily.
Bosch
Trigger Fingers doesn't have a lot of health. Try to limit the amount of risks you need to take by tearing him down fast.

Tips

  • Trigger Fingers requires patience, make sure to manage your ability and movement uses as well as positioning in order to not get hit by Headshot. Make sure to not be too overly-cautious though, as the shields from Misery will add up.
  • HOWEVER Trigger Fingers ALSO only has 50 Hp, this is the lowest health out of any Boss in the game (if counting Hickories' health as combined) meaning that an effective strategy could be just dealing enough damage to demolish him in a few turns, don't get too ambitious though, remember that if things are looking sour, you could always sacrifice Nowak.

Trivia

  • The eyes seen in the background of this fight are Gizos, enemies that are present in Talia's previous game Devour, and only come out at night.
  • Trigger Fingers is a skeleton[2]
