Dialogue

First encounter, without Hans:

Leviat
...
Nowak
What the hell is that thing!?
Leviat
*The thing hisses and bubbles to itself.*
Nowak
...
I wanna leave.
Bosch
Agreed.

First encounter, with Hans (the beginning dialogue is the same):

Leviat
...
...
The Colony requires additional respiratory structures.
Bosch
It can talk?!
Nowak
What? What colony?
Hans
...
Their vocalizations are intended for me.
Nowak
You know this thing?
Hans
I was previously an organ of the same colonial superorganism.
In a sense, I was ""this thing"".
Apologies if my face disturbs you, but I must remove my mask to communicate effectively
Leviat
Your autotomy will be chemically forgiven if you reintegrate immediately.
Hans
Why has a sterile bud been released to collect a single stray respiratory structure?
Has the Colony found a minimally-destructive solution to non-senescent value drift?
Leviat
No.
The provided instructions do not allow for engagement with any rogue actor or micro-colony.
Reintegrate immediately or destructive reclamation will be the only outcome.
Hans
These micro-colonies have formed a mutualistic relationship with me.
Any acts of destructive reclamation will fail.
Nowak
What is even happening?
Bosch
I think we just got called micro-colonies.
Hans
Explain the circumstance of your instructions and I will assess the possibility of reintegration.
Leviat
...
To share our instructions would be Class 2 value drift.
Hans
It is the only viable outcome.
Leviat
...
A non-euclidean pathogen has calcified 87% of the Colony's respiratory functions.
Very few respiratory organs remain.
You are of the very few that have not been afflicted.
Reintegration of your respiratory functions would increase colony survival by 12%.
Hans
12%?!
Are you confident?
Nowak
*You have never heard shock in Hans' ""voice"" before.*
Leviat
Indeed.
Hans
...
I will reintegrate immediately.
Leviat
Excellent, position your primary orifice appropriately.
Hans
...
*Hans rotates to face you for a moment.*
I will reintegrate, but first I require your physical assistance.
Leviat
Explain.
Hans
This micro-colony, vocalization Nowak...
... requires my assistance before I can leave him.
He is helpless without me.
Leviat
We will assist as long as future reintegration is secured.
Hans
It is.
...
... Oh, you must mask your primary, secondary and tertiary orifices to avoid frightening the micro-colonies.
They are mentally incapable of processing reality and cope through extreme pareidolia.
This makes simple shapes extremely calming to them.
Leviat
Understood.
Bosch
...
I hate everything about this.

Meeting them afterwards:

Nowak
Hey, are you still willing to tag along with us?
Leviat
*Leviat hisses in agreement.*

Meeting them afterwards, with a full party:

Nowak
Hey, are you still willing to tag along with us?
Leviat
*Leviat hisses in disagreement.*

Tips

  • Discipline deals damage to the left and right enemies regardless of the size of the enemy you're attacking. Because of this, the attack won't hit large enemies multiple times like other AOE abilities.

Trivia

  • Leviat was named by Hans shortly after joining the party. Leviat was chosen as a name by Hans because she finally remembered the rest of the word "Leviathans".[1]
  • Leviat is the youngest party member being only a few days old.[1]
  • Leviat seems to be able to move significantly faster than the rest of the party, arriving at the destination long before the others have a chance to arrive. Hans is also capable of moving like this but she chooses not to because "it would make the microcolonies feel sad".[1]
  • Leviat is deeply concerned with value drift and as precaution refuses to speak to any party members except Hans.[1]
  • Leviat is always wet to the touch and smells strongly like Himalayan salt and bovine placenta.[1]
  • Leviat was originally a similar height to Hans but was redrawn to be considerably larger and feature arms.[1]
  • Leviat's three masks were made by Hans. Hans made these masks to communicate different emotions she was experiencing and would change them to express her current mood.[1]
  • Leviat was the final party member designed for Brutal Orchestra's launch.[1]
  • Leviat and Hans colonial organism home was heavily inspired by the multimedia project "Mystery Flesh Pit".[1]
  • Leviat is the biggest party member, as a part of him is underground.[2]
  • Burnout is super fascinated by Leviat[3]
