Lore
- The Ouroboros is a large serpentine creature with two consciousness, the body of it is what's mostly in control, not the face. The body is far more primal and animalistic, while the face actually has some human level sentience and intelligence. Unfortunately, it cannot control most of its actions[1]. In Swallow the Sea, where it comes from, the Ouroboros only grows around the size of a foot[2], but Purgatory allows it to grow much larger. Though, the one in Brutal Orchestra is not the same one as in Swallow the Sea.
- Lore from the steam card: "The Ouroboros, fetched from the Maelstrom and brought to the Orpheum before the time of the Ungod by a now disbanded "Cult of Infinity Worshippers". Many worshippers died in this transit. This "Infinity Cult" believed with ample sacrifices the Ouroboros would someday speak from its true, face and reveal mathematical and philosophical insights into the nature of Purgatory. Deprived of sacrifices, the Ouroboros now preys upon the fauna of the Orpheum trapped within its lagoon. In times of starvation, it is known to feed upon itself. The Cult was disbanded suddenly and seemingly without cause. Perhaps in the end they got their wish?"

Tips
- Check the graph for
Forgetful to understand fully how it works. However this isn't really fully necessary to succeed in the fight, the most important thing to understand is once it used starvation it is safe to attack it, and stand iin front of it.
- The Body can be attacked with any amount of direct damage, switching it to the opposite move.
- The Tail is an early source of red pigment, allowing you to fuel most damage-dealers. Once the Tail is killed, the Corpse that the Body Decays into will also provide red pigment.
- The "Starvation" attack only deals 21 damage, which means it can be realistically tanked by characters such as Fennec or Boyle, which is a potential strategy.
Trivia
- The Ouroboros is a direct creature lifted from ItsTheTalia's previous game Swallow the Sea
- Ouroboros reproduce sexually, however the female will often eat the male against the faces wishes, as the face does feel love but the body does not.[3]
