Ball Wizards/Pre-Release Brutal Orchestra
Before Brutal Orchestra was known as "Brutal Orchestra" is has been known as "Ball Wizards" most likely as a placeholder name signifying the game's unique Pigment mechanic. From what Talia and Nico has shared it can be seen that a lot has changed, though the core mechanic of the pigment system seem to have stayed.
Below you will see many screenshots that were shared with the public arranged in an extremely rough chronological order allowing to witness how Brutal Orchestra used to look like:
Old Overworld during the Ball wizards era, when the far shore was a black sea, a core mechanic was an ever encroaching red sea that the player had to outpace as can be seen here.
Ditto though slightly different and having some kind of creature being in the sea
Earliest combat screenshot we have, as can be seen much have changed though some familiar faces exist, such as the Red Jumbleguts, and some of the fools though with different textures
What seems to be a more updated overworld for the Far Shore
More updated Far Shore overworld, with Anton serving as a placeholder main character
Old corrupted image of an Orpheum overworld
Old image of the Garden overworld, back then it was a giant Cathedral sinking in oil
Old placeholder party screen, names are most likely also placeholder
New revamped map system similar to Darkest Dungeon, and more in line with how current Brutal Orchestra operates
Ditto, though about to fight an enemy
Old placeholder menu, with an unused item
Old map system that would get replaced by the portals, it is unknown what some of these symbols are meant to represent
Old icon for 100% the game, most likely the final painting was also different
Old combat test against Charcarrion, the familiar UI is now present
